ABOUT ME
Who am I?
I’m Ioana Dulcu, a clinical psychologist accredited by the Romanian College of Psychologists, psychotherapist in experiential training, supervisor and fully accredited cognitive-behavioural hypnotherapist specialising in stress and anxiety management.
But before all this, I am a human, just like you, with my own flaws and experiences that have left a deep imprint on me. I’ve embraced the idea that I’m a ‘work in progress,’ and it is solely up to me how I choose to live every day of my life.
I firmly believe that satisfaction in life comes from healthy, nourishing relationships, and that each of us can reach our maximum potential, whatever that may be. For this, we need to explore how we got to where we are today.
My aim is not to tell you what to do but to help you better understand yourself and what is best for you. By increasing awareness, sharing your stories, and understanding the needs behind current thinking patterns and behaviours, I support you in making sense of your experiences and embarking on a transformative journey of self-discovery and growth.

As a psychologist and Hypno-CBT® therapist, I am committed to supporting you in reaching your goals and addressing difficulties through evidence-based therapy, using proven methods and protocols validated over the years, tailored to your specific needs and lifestyle.
I combine strategies, techniques and interventions from cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), schema therapy, experiential psychotherapy, transgenerational psychotherapy, clinical hypnosis and mindfulness to help you reconnect with your own resources and develop a positive mindset.
I approach each session with empathy and understanding, creating a comfortable and confidential setting for you to share your struggles. I encourage you to cultivate self-compassion, healthy self-acceptance and self-awareness.
